Disclaimer:
Is in no way, shape or form related to James Allen, of ITV infamy, and is quite proud of that fact.
On Fantasy Racers:
Jordan Allen is Founder and COO, of Jordan F1, the 2008 World Constructor Champions in the Sidepodcast League of Fantasy Racers, with a grand total of 8573 points. He placed 7th of all competitors in Fantasy Racers F1.
.
It has reached this position using three cunning Race Strategies based upon the the cost effectiveness of a particular driver, the number of laps in the race and what was the opposition doing. (Namely Christine). The three plans where named after our hosts:
- Christine (tracks with a high lap count, so total points are more important). This is my normal team of both Beammers and both Toyotas with either Webber/Coulthard/Barrichello or Vettel depending of their grid slot.
- me (tracks with a low lap count, so going for the win is more important) Using Kubica, Raikkonen and Trulli/Rosbeg/Coulthard /Vettel for these circuits.
- The evil Anti-Christ(ine) plan, Where I look at Christine's selection, see if her picks match mine, and then change my selection to distance myself from her bad luck. Alonso, Trulli and Kubica are the backbone of the Jordan F1 team for this plan.
In order to consolidate its standings in the Sidepodcast League, Jordan F1 went with the Anti-Christine plan for the
Brazilian Grand Prix and was able to hold off the advancing "Late Apex" team.
As the winner of the Fantasy Racers Sidepodcast League, Jordan has had the honour of addressing his fellow Sidepodcastlanders in an over two minutes speech titled
A word from the Winner.
Jordan F1 was unable to defend its title in 2009, and has entered the 2010 season as 7Up Jordan Mercedes Bridgeston with new Jordan 210!
In Sidepodcast:
Jordan uses his full name because of the possible confusion with the second Jordan (Wilman) on Sidepodcast who also lives in Canada. Suspicion that the other Jordan lives in the western part of the country has lead to Jordan Allen using the profile of Eastern_Jordan on this site.
Jordan has shamelessly "borrowed" R. G.'s idea of having things in brackets but with the added twist that the contents of the brackets may or may not contain secret messages in a vertical direction. The code seems to be either in the first or the second word of each bracketed section but further seeds are in development.
During the search to find a name for the Sidepodcast Panda mascot, Jordan thought that the Panda would be honoured to assume the name of a great Ferrari F1 driver. Working backwards from "Kimi the Panda" and "Philipe the Panda", Jordan finally came across the name of Argentinian Legend, Carlos Reutemann. (Gilles would have been perfect for a Polar Bear)
Carlos the Panda. Perfect.
Unfortunately, I have been unsuccessful in getting Sidepodcast's mascot to be named "Carlos the Panda" as apparently, me thinks that the Panda is not evil enough to be Carols Reutemann.
Jordan is presently trying to piece together a Fantasy F1 schedule of 21 races for the 2010 season, with circuits that awesome and has to put togehter either some new, or previously seens sections of tracks to this.
21 Awesome Circuit Layouts for 21 races. Duties at Relentless Sidepodcast Panda-Cosworth Racing:
Jordan is currently busy engineering the next Relentless Sidepodcast Panda-Cosworth Racing F1 challenger in his role as in-term test engineer, until such time as a full-time test engineer can be found, at which point Jordan will return to his normal duties of race engineer for Relentless Sidepodcast Panda-Cosworth Racing F1 lead driver, Steven Roy, Car #27.
At the current time, both race cars are being being developed to Steven Roy's liking in his role as Lead Driver, with apparently, 1/infinity amount of effort going into the development of the second race car at the present time, in accordance to our head of R & D.
For whatever reason, it appears that the decision has been maybe by top-level personnel to acquire the purchase of a Bell Osprey V-22 STOL aircraft without the services of aircrew. The solution to this problem was to assemble a Command Crew based on Jordan and Lou based on their combined flight expereince.
Positions are still availible for the cabin crew (Payload Specialist or Flight Attendent (Steward/Stewardess)) when needed.
