I first found sidepodcast through a link on the F1-minute site, the timing sort of co-incided with Me and Christine's first attempt at live streaming on their own server a couple of months back... I was so impressed I decided to hang around and watch the fun .. and I've not been disappointed. The combination of great news stories, knowledgeable commentators and informative hosts who aren't afraid to have a bit of a giggle at themselves makes for compulsive viewing.

F1 fan since: I've watched F1 off ond on for quite a few years but really started to become more obsessed in the late nineties watching the epic Schumi and Hakkinen battles; of course it also helped that my favourite driver DC was also in the mix.

Favourite current F1 drivers: Sebastian Vettel, Fernando Alonso and Robert Kubica, more info is in teams and drivers

Favourite team: I'm not really a team fan since abandoning McLaren but I have a bit of a soft spot for Red Bull and Renault

Favourite circuit: Oooh, thats tricky. I can't pick just one so it'd have to be Spa, Monza and Canada

F1 dislikes: Ron Dennis

F1 claim to fame: My cousin owns Rubens Barrichello's 2003 Ferrari and one of Alain Prost's 1991 Ferrari's. His son Nathan, a British GT champion has driven Rubens car at Fiorano and Mugello. Unfortunately I've never been invited to see the cars, family huh!

On the web: Set up the website Pitlanefanatic in August 2008 along with Maverick. I write there as "saltire"

First comment on Sidepodcast.com: "Hello guys, you are very brave allowing us to watch you practice live. It’s looking good though" on Alive-Alive-O the first live show on their own streaming server.
